Saudi customs clears nothing unless it appears on SABER, the SASO conformity platform. For regulated products, your Saudi importer needs a Product Certificate of Conformity (PCoC) and then a Shipment Certificate (SCoC) for each consignment. Electricals also need a SASO IECEE RC. PCN prepares the evidence in India and works with your importer on SABER.
| PCoC | Product Certificate of Conformity from a SASO-approved certification body, valid for 1 year, for products under a Saudi technical regulation |
|---|---|
| SCoC | Shipment Certificate of Conformity for each consignment, linked to a valid PCoC |
| IECEE RC | SASO recognition of your IECEE CB certificate, needed for many electrical products |
| Self-declaration | For non-regulated products, still registered on SABER |
| Account holder | Saudi importer or local manufacturer |
No. Each shipment needs an SCoC linked to a valid PCoC.
Your Saudi importer, using the technical documents PCN prepares with you.
For many electrical products, yes. The CB certificate is the basis of the SASO IECEE RC.
Renew it before your next order. An expired PCoC blocks new SCoCs and clearance.
Requirements, portals and fees change often. PCN confirms the applicable rules for each product before quoting. Certificates are issued by the relevant authority, accredited certification body or notified body.
